Our Worship Leader Eric Brooks will tell you that the Music Ministry of First Baptist Church is a ministry of Praise and Worship that exists for the sole purpose of exalting the Savior, edifying the Saints, and evangelizing the Sinner. Our goal is a multi-generational worship style engaging all in active worship, not performers and observers. Our method is music, our message is Jesus, and our motivation is eternity.

Our services are designed to be worshipful and God-honoring. Praise songs, prayer, hymns, and special music help prepare our hearts for the message from our Pastor, Gordon Cloud. The Music & Worship Ministry of First Baptist is committed to exalting the Savior, edifying the saints and evangelizing the sinner in all music selected and presented each and every week. We offer adult and graded children’s choirs. In addition, our Music & Worship Ministry offers many opportunities to serve through the performing arts such as drama, video, sound and lighting. Sanctuary Choir

The Sanctuary Choir is for those 16 years of age and older who want to use their talents to serve God in singing, and are committed to this purpose. If this is your desire, you are welcome to join the FBC Sanctuary Choir. We sing every Sunday in the 11:00 AM worship service and on occasional Sunday evenings. We rehearse on Wednesdays from 7:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a "Second Mile" rehearsal on Sundays from 5:30 p.m. to 5:50 p.m. Rehearsals are held in the Choir Rehearsal Room located in the rear of the Sanctuary.

Praise Team

The First Baptist Praise Team is a group of talented singers with a heart for worship. They are an auditioned group that rotates in helping to lead worship on Sunday mornings and evenings. The Praise Team currently rehearses Wednesday afternoons and Sunday mornings, and is committed to being part of the Sanctuary Choir as well. Praise Band

Our Praise Band is made up of musicians who love the Lord and seek to use the gifts and talents that He gave them to glorify their Creator. The Praise Band is the primary instrumental ensemble that leads in worship each Sunday morning and evening as well as for other special events. While musical skill and ability is important for each member to possess, we believe that the attitude of the heart is superior.

Children's Choir
